Century Club drinking game with 100-minute timer setup

Century Club Drinking Game: Rules, 100-Minute Setup & Warnings

Century Club is an endurance drinking game where players take one small beer drink every minute for 100 minutes.

It is also called Centurion. Think Power Hour, but somebody looked at 60 minutes and said, “What if we made this worse by 40%?”

There is no official version, but the core rule is consistent: 100 minutes, 100 small drinks. The only smart way to play is with tiny beer pours, water nearby, and zero pressure to finish.

CENTURY CLUB RULES — QUICK VERSION

  1. Set a 100-minute timer or 100-song playlist.
  2. Every minute, take one small drink of beer.
  3. Repeat for 100 minutes.
  4. Use small pours only. Do not use liquor.
  5. Do not double up if someone misses a minute.
  6. Anyone can stop at any time.
  7. Finishing all 100 minutes means you completed Century Club.

To play Century Club: start a 100-minute timer or playlist and take one small beer drink every minute. The game ends after 100 minutes, or whenever a player taps out.

How to Play Century Club

MINUTE CUE → SMALL DRINK → REFILL → REPEAT 100 TIMES

1. Start the Timer

Use a timer, playlist, or app that marks every minute. Watching a clock for 100 minutes is a great way to make the game feel like detention.

2. Drink Once Per Minute

Take one small drink when the cue hits. Keep the drink size consistent and modest.

3. Keep Refills Organized

Refill right after each drink so nobody is scrambling at the next cue.

4. Stop When Needed

Century Club is an endurance game, not a contract. Anyone can stop. No chirping, no penalty, no “come on, only 27 left.”

Century Club vs. Power Hour

Game Length Difficulty
Power Hour 60 minutes Hard but more reasonable.
Century Club 100 minutes Much heavier endurance version.

If you want the shorter version, start with Power Hour.
