Pong Shot is a ping pong drinking game where one player gets three throws, and every made shot adds to the drink assigned to another player.
Make one out of three? That is one-third of the agreed drink. Make two? Two-thirds. Go three-for-three and somebody just watched your hand-eye coordination become their problem.
Pong Shot uses the same basic skill as Beer Pong, but it is not Beer Pong with fewer cups. Beer Pong is a team elimination game. Pong Shot is a rotating three-throw penalty game that works better for small groups, quick rounds, and Beer Olympics skill scoring.

- Set up 3 to 6 target cups at one end of the table.
- Choose a shooter and a drinker.
- The shooter gets 3 throws.
- Each made shot is worth one-third of the agreed drink.
- After all 3 throws, the drinker takes the amount earned.
- Rotate positions and give the next shooter 3 throws.
- Play open-ended or score made shots if you want a winner.

Keep the drinking cup separate from the target cups. Ping pong balls are not exactly sterile little angels.
How to Play Pong Shot
SHOOT 3 → COUNT MAKES → POUR AMOUNT → DRINK → ROTATE
1. Pick the Shooter and Drinker
The shooter stands at the shooting end. The drinker is the player receiving the penalty for that turn. Everyone else waits in rotation.
2. Shoot Three Balls
The shooter gets exactly three throws. A ball only counts if it lands in a target cup and stays there.
3. Score the Makes

4. Rotate Positions

Skip drinking penalties and score one point per made shot. This is the best Beer Olympics format because everyone gets the same number of attempts.
