Boat Race is a team drinking relay where players chug their cups one at a time down the line, and the first team to legally finish wins.

- Split into two even teams.

How to Play Boat Race

1. Set the Order
Each team locks in its drinking order before the race starts. Put reliable drinkers early and a calm person at anchor. Fast is good. Fast and panicked is how cups end up on shoes.
2. Start on the Ref’s Call
Only the first drinker on each team can touch their cup when the race starts.
3. Finish and Signal
Players prove their cup is empty. The classic signal is turning the cup upside down over your head. Dramatic? Yes. Effective? Also yes.
4. Hand Off Legally
The next teammate cannot start until the previous teammate has finished and signaled.
5. Anchor Wins the Race
The race ends when the final player legally finishes. Close calls go to the ref, because otherwise this becomes a federal trial with plastic cups.
